From science to swimming, music to math, these East Valley camps promise hours of fun for your children. Kids can learn how to cook, stretch their athletic skills or test their imaginations with crafts, games and activities.
CITY OF CHANDLER
Children in grades 1 through 6 can look forward to many fun
activities at Chandler Recreation camps from June 8 to July 24
at Tumbleweed Recreation Center, Snedigar Recreation Center,
Community Center and Environmental Education Center. There
also are weekly “Teen Adventure Camps” at Andersen Junior High
for 7th to 9th graders from June 8 to July 17. Registration for

The Art of Color at AMY
Explore the art of color in this summer camp especially for preschoolers
and kindergartners. We will explore the art of color through
watercolor landscape painting, tissue paper collage, wax resist drawing,
scratch art, all inspired by the works of art on view in the My Favorite
Monster exhibition. Camp is for ages 4 to 6. 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 21-
24. $135 for members; $160 for non-members. Registration is limited
to 30 students for a four-day week of programming. First come, first
served. Early Drop off available at 9 a.m. for an additional $4.50 per day.
