This camp includes instruction in motor skills and introductory sport skills, plus tumbling, balancing, rhythm, obstacle courses, climbing, and plenty of free play time and running around. Sports Clinics are for grades K to 5. This camp is based on the sports skills program and targets two of the 24 skills per day. Sports include soccer, baseball, basketball, football, floor hockey and volleyball. Each day includes two instructional periods based on their SCORE™ method, and extensive specialized games designed to turn practice into play.

For example: “Who’s Your Hero?” and “Coastal Cowabunga.” They also have external guest speakers, including a visit from the Phoenix Zoo, and entertainers, such as magicians and scientists, to add to the excitement. Activities include games, obstacle courses and crafts. Juice and snacks will be served. Camps are for children ages 3 to 12. Children must be potty-trained. Flexible registration is available. YCA will tempt your kids into learning cooking techniques with a sampling of a variety of cuisines. With three hours a day devoted to our theme, your children will get to experience new tastes and learn to prepare many recipes. This summer we will feature such themes as Cool Treats, Experience Italy, Chocolate Adventure, Celebrity Chefs, Discover France, Baking At Its Best, Top Secret Recipes, and Coast to Coast Cooking. Camps are for ages 6 and up and are open to members for $125 per week or $40 per day and non-members for $135 per week or $45 per day. We also offer a 20 percent sibling discount and 10 percent discount on Early Bird registration before May 15.
